Smart Dog - By Julia K.

Smart Dog, by Vivian Vande Velde, is about a dog/science experiment, who talks like a human and learns like a human. The dog, Sherlock or F32, overheard the mean professer, Dr. Boden, saying that Sherlock couldn't get any smarter so that class would dissect him and see what his brain was like. Sherlock is smart enough to open the lock, so he runs away and finds unpopular Amy Prochencko, and asks her for help. Amy and Sherlock have to keep Sherlock's talking a secret. Will Dr. Boden and his students dissect Sherlock? Will somebody find out that Sherlock can talk? Find out when you read the book. This book is not in a series. I like this book because it has action in it. if you like the Magic Tree House series, you will like this book.
