Ella Enchanted is one of the best books I've read and I recommend it to you. In this book Ella is
born and a fairy named Lucinda gives her a gift of obedience. Through the book Ella is commanded to do things she hates and she even has to give her mother's wedding necklace to her snobby soon-to-be step sister. Ella's mother dies of sickness in the begining of the story so she lives with her family's cook Mandy until her dad comes to take care of her. I hope you will get the chance to read this book!
